Welcome to the world of poultry

It all begins with just a couple of backyard chickens, and before you know it, you have too many to count. at least that's what happened to me. My husband bought me a little coop and I purchased 3 hybrid hens. From then on, I was hooked. I gained more species, and numbers of chickens over the next few years, and took over the garden shed. I haven't looked back since. I am now focusing on more specific groups of birds, ranging from your 'standard' brown chicken which lays great eggs for breakfast, to more specialised breeds including a few rarer ones.

Quality First

Every bird is raised from the egg, to the chick, to the adult bird, with care. All aspects of the birds needs are met, and excellent welfare is considered most important.

Expert Care

I have kept poultry for many years, and spent many of my younger years around all kinds of poultry, even Rheas.

Real Results

Happy healthy poultry equals good hatching egg quality, and healthy chicks. Great hatching rates have been seen this year, and hope to continue.
